New accounts are public by default. Public accounts can be found in user search and can show public shelf entries and stats. Private accounts only show that the account is private.

What stays private

  • Email address
  • Personal notes on shelf entries
  • Feedback and support messages
  • Reports you submit and users you block
  • Your shelf, favorites, skipped episode notes, owned manga details, and stats when your account is private
  • Full payment card numbers, which are handled by Apple, Ko-fi, or payment providers rather than stored by ReVault Manga

What ReVault Manga stores

  • Email address for authentication, email verification, and password recovery
  • Username, display name, profile photo or avatar URL, and account visibility setting
  • Anime and manga shelf entries, status, progress, skipped episode notes, scores, favorites, group favorites, times watched/read, and owned manga information
  • Private notes that are only visible to you
  • Friend requests, accepted friend relationships, blocked-user records, and profile reports used for social and safety features
  • Feedback and support requests you choose to submit
  • Optional in-app purchase or website tip records handled by Apple, RevenueCat, Ko-fi, and payment providers

What public visitors can see

  • Username, display name, and profile photo or avatar URL
  • Public shelf entries, status, progress, skipped episode notes, score, favorites, group favorites, and basic stats
  • Owned manga summaries if you track owned manga publicly
  • Profile-level social controls such as friend request or friend status actions
